SCHS FFA Travels to the Sunbelt AG Expo in Moultrie, Georgia!

SCHS FFA had six members/officers to visit the the Sunbelt Ag Expo, as well as tour the ABAC college campus! They learned about different aspects of the agriculture industry and products in the industry.

Stephens County Area ll Officers head to Perry, GA!

They had the pleasure of traveling to to FFA Day At The Fair at the Georgia National Fair! They showcased their project about "Letting Them(trees) Grow" and deforestation and advocated to Fair goers and FFA members across Georgia!

One of our FFA Officers, Amelia Housley, attended the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) in Washington, D.C. She had the opportunity to spend a week in D.C. interacting with FFA members from around the country and learning how to utilize her leadership skills to be better leaders for her communities and Georgia. In addition, she had the opportunity to learn how to advocate for agriculture while discussing agricultural topics with national leaders.

SCHS Horse Judging Wins in Georgia FFA

They judged six different classes of horses, presented two sets of reasons, and worked together to complete a team activity of real-world situations.

SCHS FFA Member Wins Prepared Public Speaking

She wrote a seven-and-a-half-minute speech about the regulation of the mislabeling of plant-based meat. It was presented in front of a panel of judges giving her speech and answering questions about her issue.
